My dog ​​used to pull a lot on the leash and not respond to basic commands, but after a few sessions, changes began to appear. He uses positive techniques and takes the time to teach you as the owner, which was invaluable. In addition, he was always punctual, attentive, and answered all my questions. I can’t say enough good things about K9 Solutions and working with Chris! From the minute our intake appointment was over, I knew I made the right choice. Chris was incredible — super knowledgeable, patient, and really took the time to explain why we were doing certain things, which helped me trust the process and feel way more confident as a young dog owner. When we started, my sweet puppy Hazel couldn’t even go on a walk. She was scared of almost everything, pulled like crazy on the leash, and definitely needed MAJOR help with socialization. Fast forward to now — after a mix of in-home sessions, out-and-about training, and even some group classes — Hazel and I are going on long walks, grabbing coffee, and even sitting down at restaurants together. As beautiful as she is, we were close to giving up due to her puppy behavior that we just couldn’t control. Finally contacted Chris and Magda At K9 Solutions and within the first hour, Stella began to change her behavior. The training sessions were curtailed to Stella’s needs and each behavior has been modified with their positive training strategies. Stella went from an out of control, unmanageable puppy to a now well mannered puppy who can walk off leash among many distractions. Skipper chose Chris as his trainer the first time he met him. Chris walked into the dog park with his dog, Skipper walked up to him , followed him everywhere he went and obeyed every command Chris gave him even though he had not yet started any command training. Skipper is a high energy Bahamian pot cake known for their intelligence. They are genetically programmed to hunt food and survive in a pack. Chris and Magda took this crazy dog and, have trained him so well that he is now ready to proceed to first stage service dog training where he will become a medical alert dog. Chris and Magda were great to work with and really cared about our dog Zoya. We did 18 sessions with them to work with our dogs reactivity and resource guarding. You could tell they put genuine thought into their training program for her in order to customize it to help her learn the best she could and fix her behavioral issues. We can now understand Zoya’s triggers and are able to give her much more positive experiences.
